Heating systems are an engineering system designed to maintain the necessary areas at the required temperature, prevent heat loss from the inside to the outside, and recover the lost heat.

There are two types of heating systems: Central and local.

The central heating system is mainly installed in large buildings. A central boiler is used to heat the heat carrier (water, air, or steam) to be used for heating, a pipe system is used to distribute the heat carrier, and a radiator, fan coil, appliance, etc. are used to transfer the heat. In addition, there is a central heating system (underfloor heating system) provided by the distribution of pipes under the floor.

Circulation pumps are used for water circulation in heating systems. Hot air is distributed through ducts for air-using systems.

Local (local) heating systems have the same principle as central systems, but the heating center serves a single zone. They are usually installed for each apartment or catering facility (in small systems), and compact devices are used.
